As title says, I have a complete NBT retrofit kit for sale. I had this installed in my 2013 X5 and had it removed a couple weeks ago. The kit includes

PRICE LOWERED: $999!!!

-NBT Headunit

Everything is in excellent cosmetic and working condition and ready to go. Attached are some pictures of my car when these were installed and a couple more from yesterday of the parts already removed. The only thing you might need is coding based on your car's options.

Available for local pickup in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and I can also ship. Buyer covers shipping costs.

I did the hardware install myself and had the great help from Neo Anderson from Custom Retrofit for the coding and programming. So feel free to contact me directly or reply here if any questions or comments.

Thanks

It's really a great package. I paid more than double all in and it was worth every penny to upgrade from CIC. Let me know if any questions.

You have to remove it and install the CID in its place. I think most people use one of those brackets that you can find at any home improvement stores and attach it to the dash frame with screws but I actually used heavy duty tie-wraps and made a harness using the housing/metal bracket on the back of the screen and attaching them on the dash frame that is behind your CIC and and on the bottom wholes where the original screws go, I attached it with tie-wraps and it worked just perfectly. Never got lose or never moved out of place and it was really easy to do once I came up with the solution.

Here are some pictures I took when I was uninstalling NBT, hope this helps but let me know if still any questions.

Yes, reverse camera with guiding lines works. I actually had top view and side view cameras and all worked perfectly.

How well does it integrate with the dash? I feel like there would be visible openings on the side where you can see around the new screen to where the old screen would be. If this has touch functionality and not solidly installed wouldn't it move every time you touch it?

In my opinion (and I'm a very picky person) I would say it looks very well when installed. There is a small gap that you can see from the passenger side only if you lean forward. it never bothered, but of course this is very relative.

This CID is not a touchscreen but still it was very sturdy when I installed it and it never moved while I had it in the car.

Thanks for asking

Andrés

on the back there is nothing, the screen is sitting flush with the dash; the only small gap is on the sides. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures from that angle.

You can see in this pic where someone crafted a piece using the same vinyl so it looked more or less like it came that way.
