According to BMW webite, the sport exhaust system is only available for 35i engines. The 50i already has exhaust system that is loud and sporty enough.
Thanks A lot

Hi XBMW6 your X6 looks great ,must say I have always thought of the X6 as an X5 gone wrong on the rear end - but now seeing yours and I agree the side body work and overall body kit make it look lower ( also have just checked out the special lowered suspension X6 in this thread and what a difference ) BMW should bring this vehicle out with a lowered suspension, would have the sales moving ,Cheers .

Hi,
I want to ask you about the sides sills surface .. As i see from the picture , i think it's a smooth surface and looks slippy & i did not see any kind of rubber am i right?
Are the car enters & exist flexible with it?

Cuz the standard sills is not flexible enough for me

There's no rubber...It's the same black material as the one in the rear bumper. I like the new side sills better since I've never used the running boards for entry or exit as the x6 is not high enough, unless you have kids. Actually, I ordered the running boards just for the looks.

Car looks amazing! But it's weird that when I asked my dealer they said that they don't sell the Performance Package kit.

XBBMW6, may i ask you an urgent question,...do you have active cruise control with stop and go on your car? And if you do, does it work fine with the new performance package? I need to know for sure before i buy the package.

Looking forward to your response.

Hi...No I don't have the active cruise option. It only came out recently on the 2011 models. However, you will have to order a special performance front bumper that has a designated space for the active cruise radar lens. Your dealer should be able to specifiy that part. If you order the right part, there shouldn't be any problem with the active cruise control. In BMW's accesories website, under the BMW Performance Aerodynamics package, you will notice a note that says "For vehicles without Active Cruise Control (option 5DF)". So there should be an equivilant part for the ones with active cruise. Goodluck...
