Thanks! Has anyone DIY installed a standard US hitch or this European hidden hitch on their X6?

I'm wondering if this would work with the X5M.

This seems like a cool idea
However, Drawbar load ratings plate is 120KG (264Lb) only

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...24&hg=71&fg=10

I wonder what it translates to in terms of actual towing weight

Anyone?

It would probably be enough for using as a bike rack holder?

Specs. How do I get it in North America?

Found the answer at bmw UK: http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/owner/acc...156___,00.html

Looks like it can tow about 2700kg (5000lbs), and carry 120kg (265lbs) on the hitch ball.

How do you get this in NA? Canada?
