Question about 2012 X6

Noob here. Just ordered a 2012 X6 5.0 I'm curious if anyone can tell me, in a sport package car is the front and lower grill black or painted gray? Pics would be great too.

Here's what I ordered:

X6 5.0
Sapphire black
Black leather
Aluminum trim
Premium package
Sport package (no adaptive drive)
Sport seats
20" wheels
Premium sound
BMW apps
3 rear seats (5 seats)

In the sport package or sport activity package the kidney grilles are black but the mesh grilles in the bumper are gray

That's exactly what I thought which sucks, IMO. Should have all been black. oemparts.com doesn't have 2012 catalog up yet. Anyone know the part numbers for the bottom and top mesh grills in black (schwarz)??

OP is asking about a 50i, which has silver kidney grills in all variations. The 35i has black grills.

If you don't like your grills, its easy to change them out. You can change black to silver for about $200 and silver to black for about $125 or so.

I plan changing both the mesh and kidney grills to black. Anyone know if the 2012 part numbers are same as 2011? Can't find 2012 on realoem.com yet.

2012 X6 50I  [0.00]
2006 Volvo XC90 V8  [0.00]
2001 996 Turbo  [0.00]
I changed to all black, kind of a pain since you have to remove the bumper for the lower one. My new 2012 with active cruise is all black so I don't have to change the new one.

Had a 2009 X5 4.8...changed all to black. Yes, lower was a PITA since the bumper had to be removed. Took about an hour all in all, wasn't THAT bad. X5 going back and picking up X6 in about 2-3 weeks. I have no patience though....I want to have the parts ready to change the grills the minute I bring it home. I'm assuming its the same as 2011, but just want to be sure.
