N55 Downpipe

I am talking to a welder friend of mine to make me a downpipes for my E70 X5 3.5. I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested as he would need to develop a jig.

VRSF makes one that fits the E70 N55. How much difference would your friend's DP be vs the VRSF?

going to price it out and see, I also want it to be catted and a direct fit to stock. Have you run the VRSF one? I have tried to pm them with no response.

I have not but have been thinking about buying theirs for the longest time. The supposedly have guaranteed fitment. I also thought about a catted one but some people seem to have issues where they would get a CEL sometimes if they pushed the engine hard.
