Could you post a side by side picture comparison if you still have both? I'm curious about the differences.

Thanks

Yes. I don't have them yet, but I'll try to remember to take some before and after when I install them.

Just Google the above p/n's ... Lot's of listings on eBay in Europe.

Hard to tell the difference. Mirror is considered to be a "wide angle".

What is it that you want to see/compare?

It's the first time l hear about them. I find the wide angle a possible nice addition to my car. I wanted to have an idea of the angle visually

Did you install the mirror yourself? If so, was it a difficult to do?

It is easy to change. Had to replace one on my sisters e53, is the same thing.
Here they are installed from factory.

Installed the mirrors today. Pretty straightforward to remove the old ones. I evened the mirrors out side to side and pushed the top in as far as it would go on both sides. Enough room on the bottom to get my fingers in and with some pressure, the mirrors popped right out. Just as easy to snap the replacements in.

Very notable difference on the driver side. Not as much on the passenger. Euro passenger mirror doesn't have the "Objects..." text printed on it. First and third images are the original flat glass, second and fourth are the aspheric.

For comparison, the glass is in the exact same position on both sides between the flat and aspheric.

I found them used on eBay and although the seller listed the location as Massachusetts, the mirrors came from Lithuania. They are BMW OE.

Awesome work with the pictures. I love what I see with the the wide angle. Do they have the auto dimming function too? I'm not sure by looking at the picture. I don't see the "dark" spot in the mirror.

Yes, they do. I wondered the same thing, but if you look at the glass at the right angle, you can see it. It's definitely not as pronounced as the flat glass. I'm assuming that's because of the aspheric nature, but they are definitely electrochromic and heated. Tested both features last night.
