No start, start and die condition
Did the vvt and shaft. Now, vvt codes are gone but I'm getting these codes now. Maybe a vacuum leak? Barely starts when it does, of it does it will run badly for a few seconds and die.

Have you checked, double checked, and triple checked all the electrical connectors?

Only time I have had those types of codes is when I forgot to re-connect a Crank Case Ventilation (CCV) Hose. Sometimes those connectors are in a tough spot and are hard to get the “click.”
Simple trick is while it’s idling (or trying to idle lol) lightly mist WD40 around the back of the engine and its sides but not near the airbox. If the revs noticeably increase. Vacuum leak, if not move to the next possible problem, electrical. Just try and rule one thing out at a time. Good Luck! |
