According to PSI, it could be done, but it will take some work...

Looks like a 2011 model. If you see the headlights, they are not the LED LCI ones.

Sorry forget the model, is the msport LCI
That's what i'm see is the x5m have the reflector in the fender,
That's why concern the x5m bumper need to cut a little to match

According to the individual who did the conversion in Germany, it was much less involved than what PSI stated (..although I can see where body work may be needed. The portion of the bumper than mates to the fender flare seems to go a millimeter or two inward/off line). Aside from that individual having to upgrade to LCI fenders, everything else seemed to be a "bolt on" affair. I emailed the shop that did his conversion and I'm waiting to hear back. I'll be doing this conversion in the next month, so I will also be able to confirm whether or not the conversion is problematic.

Cutting isn't required. A non-M X5 doesn't have a reflector at/near the mounting point like the X5M, so it's a non issue. There won't be a reflector there on a non-M X5.

Definitely keep us/me posted on how it works out with your shop. I think that depending on the ease of this conversion, MANY of us driving "normal" X5's will perform this conversion. I've already estimated that parts will cost just a tad under $1300 (...$999 for the front bumper and two X5M fender flares at about $140 a piece; add $450-ish for a replica Vorsteiner CF front lip, and you're at $1750 in parts), so if the body work isn't too invasive, I can't see a shop charging much to install/align the parts. Paint would probably be another $400 or so. I'm really eager to do this conversion.

I should have been more specific. I was referring to the VS rep (...as I refuse to spend $1500 on a part that will/could be damaged easily from road debris; I learned my lesson after a tire tore my Arkym in half). I edited my original statement.
