Rear suspension problem
Hi all,
I am looking for your great winsdom here. So my rear suspension have a serious issue. Now what is happening, the car stay up as long as it is not on as soon as it start to drive within 5 minutes the car sags at the back. No error is stored compressor work we have changed the valve bags as good as it is not sagging for days if not on. Thank you in advance. |

Based on your post, you're saying with the car on, the pressurized system gets deflated. But with the car off, the compressor stays on and inflates the airbags and holds pressure? If so, I'd suspect the internals of the compressor, but...
If new air bags, then double check the solenoid lines were re-installed correctly, see thread below, post #7. See this thread: https://www.xbimmers.com/forums/show...oid+air+spring If the lines were installed correctly at the compressor and solenoid, then you might be able to rule out intentional programmed inflation/deflation, there has to be a leak either externally or internally to compressor or solenoid. I would next use some swagelok snoop (or equivalent) to check the connections at the solenoid and compressor for air leaks when vehicle powered off/on. Basically find out where deflation is occuring... Maybe someone else can chime in with ideas...GL.

Hmm, I thought I’ve heard mine come on before the car goes into sleep mode when I had a leak…maybe not.
You said in the original post the car stays up (inflated to height) as long as the car is not turned ON…maybe restate….
