My X6M at the Toronto Autoshow

In case there are any X6 owners visiting the Toronto autoshow, my X6M will be on display on the 800 level of the south building. It is being displayed by SPorts Car Boutique and with the help of Vorsteiner are displaying the total package including V104 wheels. THe car is carbon black. I was not allowed to see it until the show so I the anticipation is unbelievable right now. The guys at Sports car Boutique are fantastic people and all around pretty cool.

I will post pics as soon as I go down hopefully this weekend.

Cheers

I also live in Richmond Hill, but I never saw a carbon black X6M. Will go check out your beast on the autoshow

It's around, but its been so covered in salt and grime this winter that it only looks silver
Besides the "beast" scares would be onlookers

Awesome! I was thinking of those exact wheels in either matte black or gunmetal so this will be well worth the trip on Sunday. What size / finish did you go with?

Thanks for posting this as I may have missed it - I'm primarily going to see how the new GTR looks in the flesh.

We thought long and hard on the wheels, and eventually went with a textured gunmetal. Vorsteiner needed to show the car with 22 inch wheels. I will test drive the wheels after the autoshow. I am also quite interested in the GTR

I'm leaning towards 21" gunmetal so this combo should help solidify my decision.

HAWT!

Saw the X6M today and was impressed with carbon package that sportscar boutique wrapped it with. Nice choice on the rims as well. The 22's make it look really mean.

Wheel finish? Matte black? Lips are matte?

Not the best pics.

Lighting was poor and I used a tiny point and shoot. Better pics next Saturday with my pro camera.

Entire package is Vorsteiner, go to their website for specs.

On the car is front splitter, rear spoiler lip and diffuser, and carbon fiber hood. Everything is gloss carbon fiber.

Wheels are V 104 matte/textured gunmetal finish. I liked this over the aluminium finish as the wheels get dirty anyway and I don't want to spend a whole lot of time cleaning them. I have ferric grey winter rims style 298M and I love the look when they are dirty. I don't like mattte black so these wheels are perfect.

I wonder what it would look like if you painted the wheels to match the body color? I would probably paint the hood to match also.

285/30/22 would have more closely matched the outer diameter and Rev/Mi with 335/25/22, if you used Pirelli zero assimetrico.

We tried, but due to time constraints couldn't do that combo. Pirelli believe it or not only had 3 tires (not 4 available) . Couldn't get vredestein so ended up with Conti's. Tough to find Summer performance in the middle of a Canadian winter.

I see...had the same problem (Alberta)

I must have lucked out with getting my pirellis.

I didn't know that Conti's came in this width, good to know when I rip up my rubber the track this spring!

CHeaper too, and seems that they have good ratings. Their fate will likely be the same after track days this season.
