You said you are looking for suggestions so here is mine: My 2¢ advice is don't do it. IMO you will get a hard ride for sure, no matter what brand spring you choose. Especially running 20s. Definitely not worth it! . . just to get the look you want.

Everyone seems to be selling their springs... I have 22" rims on stock springs and its harsh... I couldn't imagine aftermarket 2" drop springs with 22 being streetable on crappy NY roads, even though I want to drop her so bad. Coilovers seem to be the only way to go and there is only 1 option I know of and thats KW v3's which cost almost 3k. At that price you might as well spend the extra grand and get the accuair full air suspension kit

not sure how the roads are in your area but in michigan they suck ass. I rode in my buddies x5 after he put in h&r springs, the ride was so bad that by the end of the week he went back to the stock setup.

i have h&r's 1.2" drop and i have no issues with them. the ride is a tad stiffer which make for nicer cornering. I have the factory 20" 214 wheels on. I think a lot of people are feeling the stiffness more so because of the factory run flats. I recently changed to my snow tires (18" NON runflats) and it's like butter. No harsh ride at all. Snow tires are Pirelli scorpion ice/snow if you must know.

can't wait to burn through the 20" run flats and go to normal tires.
