Any issues with EuroCharged tune? Going to pull the trigger, hate having an unmodified car....Turbos are fun with tune..

spacers

I want to retain some 'utility' aspect of the vehicle and I plan to get an M4 at some point anyway, so no need to turn the X5M into a coupe.
Have 22x10 front and 22x11 rears, 295 front and 335 rears, ordered 20mm spacer for rear and 10mm spacer for front, let you know how that looks, everyone said 25 mm rear and 15 mm front on factory 20x10 and 20x11 wheels, being the 295 and 335 are about 1/2 wider tire in thought a 5 mm reduction was in order, any input?

yes - what's the revolution per mile difference between the front and rear tires? You have to be really really careful - you cant just go mixing and matching tires.

Nope havent had any issues, truck runs and pulls strong. Very noticeable difference immediately, and always drive in M mode. They will include a race gas tune, 93, or 91 octane for whatever you need.

Just a heads up with anyone of these tunes it practically makes manual 1st gear impossible to drive you need to slam 2nd immediately.

Shoot me a PM if you have any other questions especially about launching or racing these things.

I just wanted to say that I'm loving this X5M. This thing pulls so hard for its size and weight; it definitely defies logic. When I'm driving on the expressway and I make rapid passing maneuvers, people look like how in the hell can that vehicle move that fast. If I'm driving local roads and I'm sprinting from stop light to stoplight, again, people are completely in dismay by how fast a vehicle this size can move.

I don't even think a tune is necessary with how brutal the acceleration is already. The handling is equally impressive given its size. I'm still not 100% confident on pushing it to its limits in the g-Force department, but I'm sure it can handle at least .90g in an increasing radius type of turn.

This engine is CRYING out for the M-DCT to optimize and maximize the shifts and power delivery through the gears.

Can't wait to try launch control.

It's fast now....... Then you order a tune .... Down pipes with tune..... And now I think of the pp performance stage 5 at 8xx hp. Hp is a drug addiction

On another note my real passion is go fast boats or how most people call them "cigarette boats". By the way that's a manufacture not a type. 1350 hp per engine from mercury racing ( they only come in pairs) .. Baller status....

I have been out of the loop they now make 1650hp engines now

Hey OP been reading your post and congrats on the ride. This is an amazing SUV. I've owned my for almost a year and I'm still amazed at the level of grip that this SUV has and how quick it is.

My quick two cents for modding:

I have tried three different tunes: Dinan, ESS and most currently and the tune that has stayed in the car. Velos. This is by far the best tune and from a butt dyno, has given the most HP for the dollars.

I have had no issues with the tune whatsoever.

Also, try the Dinan suspension and exhaust. I have both and love them. Subtle, but they definitely do the job.

Good luck and enjoy! And yes this truck needs the DCT and can't believe the new one is getting it. Too bad I can't buy into the X5 styling. I love the aggressive looks of the E70 X5M.
