Hackers Steal 2 X5's with laptops
Just found this story about hackers tapping into 2 X5's computers and stealing them.
They unlocked the doors, started the engines and even disabled the tracking systems. Here's the links: http://www.engadget.com/2006/05/03/b...oting-thieves/ http://www.leftlanenews.com/2006/05/...to-steal-cars/

That's pretty awsome. Things like this, as well as the cost of getting replacements, are what bother me about keyless entry & ignition. Yes, I know people can steal the good old mechanical systems too. But information on how to do this will probably spread quickly, and would also probably be attempted more often since people can inconspicuously go to work on your car from a small distance.
