eBay Carbon Lip Review
I figured I would shed some insight to the eBay carbon fiber products with only a handful of reports out here so far.
I contacted a domestic seller of these products on the 24th (didn't want to deal with a broken english oversea seller, along with potential oversea shipping issues). After a little back and fourth we agree on $600 shipped. The seller was extremely fast with communication and was a pleasure to work with and kept me updated during shipping. Yesterday on the 29th I received a call from a freight shipper to schedule a delivery. I wasn't able to meet them yesterday so I arranged for it today (the 1st). Packaging was pretty good. Heres the lip. Pic of the carbon quality Anything that may appear as an imperfection is a reflection of the sun... I need to clean it up and get it on the truck now. As of now, I don't see any hardware in the packaging but i'l check again a little later. The only thing that I think that could be better is the mesh.. Its cheap and zip tied on. I'll likely replace this with something a little better.

I'm surprised you even have a mesh, mine came without, there is no hardware typically for this lips (aftermarket), you should be able to reuse the original screws and maybe use some tape on the top. I haven't install mine yet but weather getting warmer so I might do it soon, if you end up installing yours soon, pls let us know. Did you order the rear diffuser too?

Subscribed. I've got a rear hitch that I'll likely never use, so I'm debating just removing the hitch and seeing if I can get a deal on a front and rear combo from one of the eBay sellers.

It doesn't "require" any drilling but in order to make it sit tight against the bumper you're going to need to drill or 3m it.
I'm personally going to drill because I don't trust that fastening just the bottom will hold and to make sure I get very tight fitment. Also, I want to be able to remove this in the winter in the event we get deep snow.. 3m would be a pita to deal with. Not concerned with holes because they're on the underside and you wouldn't see them unless the bumper is off the car or you're laying on the ground.

Deffuser should be easier but I'm not 100% sure, I really hope I won't need to take rear bumper off to install it. |

Yep!
I was going to take a boring 1/2" hole saw bit to the bottom of the lip so that I could then run some self tappers through the in to the top part of the lip. Once I have done that I have some 1/2" plugs that I bought that I will put in the new existing holes.

Got the lip installed this morning before heading to get my wheels... Ill post up more about the install later. There is one small area where I'm not crazy about on fitment... but all in all a good buy for the price. I used the 4 supplied carbon tabs at the bottom for the sides and it fit pretty good on the two side pieces. Fitment on the center was awful... It stuck out more than an inch. I used a 1" boring bit and some self tappers and ran 4 of them into it on the underside and all was good.
Ill get better pictures later, for now the cell phone ones will have to do.
