I searched but could not find a front & rear brake pad DIY for X6M/X5M. Anyone have one?

Same as any other brake pad change, just don't forget the sensors. There are a couple of youtube videos on resetting the service notice after replacing sensor(s).
Btw - nice garage - I currently own a 2013 Audi S-4, 2008 X5 4.8i and 2011 X5 M. |

What I am wanting to know is the procedure on how to remove the pads from this type of caliper. Never done this type before

Once the clip is off, you'll just pull the old pads out. (NOTE: You may have to leave the old pads in and suppress the cylinders (two per side) one side at a time as you would with the back axle.) Make sure when suppressing one side, that you don't let the the other side pop out (hence leaving the old pad in). Happened to me, it was a PITA getting them back in. Fronts are much easier to do than the rears because you don't have to remove a part of the caliper. |

I just did the front pads, and while I don't have an X5M (sigh), I have the front brakes. I still have this tool from when I tracked my E46 M3 with stoptech calipers. This made trackside pad swaps easier, and this is what I used to compress the pistons in the X5M calipers
