eisenmann Race Black edition peeling paint

I have an Eisenmann Race Black Series edition installed on my ride. I have had it for approximately 2 years. The powder coat on the muffler cans is now bubbling/blister and peeling off along with the powder coat on the tips. Has anyone had similar issues with poor quality with the Eisenmann coating on black series?? I would re-powder the tips but they are welded on. This has really pissed me off. Looks like shit.

There goes the "you get what you pay for" mantra everyone loves to use here.

I'm guessing the tips can be cut off smoothly enough that someone with some skill could re-weld along that same cutline after you get them re-powdercoated...but I feel your pain because you shouldn't have to be redoing them this soon.

I have an Eisenman race exhaust on my M3-about two years ago my tips started to peel/chip. I called the vendor who I purchased it through and they sent me a new exhaust, no questions asked. Eisenman should stand behind their product.

You would expect so....unfortunately not the case. Really disappointed. So now if Eisenmann would even come through I need to take off my exhaust and ship it back to them from Canada and wait for a new one! I don't even know whom I should talk to since the distributor I bought it from is now out of business.

Contact IND. They are the largest Eisenman dealer in the US-they might be able to connect you to a Eisenman rep. When mine was warrantied they sent me the new exhaust first and I sent in my old exhaust after. The install doesn't take much time. Best of luck.
