Painted key hole cover
I was interested in this product after reading about how easy it was to break the lock...
http://www.bimmian.com/KHC/70 But it does bring up an important question. Does anyone know how vehicle entry is made in an event that the battery is totally drained, since the vehicle won't respond to the remote keys? Last edited by cybervinn; 08-06-2012 at 11:08 AM.. |

Vendor response to my query...
"In that very RARE case, you would have to break off the Key Hole cover to get access to the lock cyclinder.
I have had one on my car for over 6 years and this has never happened." -Bimmian.com response Obviously he doesn't own an X5 or knows about the possible battery issues with this vehicle. |
