Want to share my experience on this:

The after market tire pressure sensor a shop installed for me did not work at all.
It is broadcasting at the same frequency, as I was told. But the car does not recognized it. So now I've lost reading of my tire pressure after listen to the shop to put in a new sensor.

If they programmed it right, then at least this 'Autel' pressure sensor is not compatible with 2012 F30.

I bought mine from Tire Rack and just installed them this week. 2019 440i. They work great. Tire Rack are generally sticklers about fitment and compatibility. Open up the website and click the live chat button. They will find you what you need. I think they only cost $70 IIRC

ask them to show you the frequency. The changeover was 2014/2015? Their reader can read that it's working but it might not be the right frequency.

I got two tpms sensors from tire rack, they were the right frequency and were transmitting. The car just wouldn't read them. Had to send them back.
