Help w e70 m sport 35i pricing!
I've soured a bit on the diesel x5's as it's so hard to find adaptive drive and sports pack and I fear the diesel emissions issues. I also prefer the body color painted parts on the m sport 35i. 50i seems unreliable and gas guzzler. I can always add a tune and downpipe to the 35i.
I found a nice and seeking input: 79k miles priced at $17,900. One owner car, clean carfax, full dealer service records. What should I offer? It was a trade, not an auction car, so they likely have more margin. 2011 x5 35i m sport Space Gray over black w 20 inch 333 m wheels M Sport Adaptive Drive Comfort Seats Heated front seats Harman kardon HUD Tech Pack w side and rear top view cameras Premium Pack Cold Weather Pack Pano Roof Combox PDC Pretty loaded, though I wish it had cooled front seats and heated rears. |

Price seems pretty reasonable to me - a 2011 35i is getting to that point of nearly full depreciation. Sure it will fall further in price, but nothing like it has the past few years. Keep in mind this X5 you're looking at was probably 65-70K new, so 17.9K seems pretty fair.
Too bad it's not a 2012, then you'd get the updated LED coronas and the Cold Weather Package in 2012 would have included the rear heated seats. Although M Sport in 2012 would not have included Adaptive Drive. Nothing wrong with going in and offering a good 1-2K less than asking. All they can do is say no. |

Check if the following has been done: Tranny flush, transfer case flush, spark plugs and water pump, and most importantly, the front drive shaft. Price seems ok. I'd start by offering $15k.
