New owner of 2012 X5 50i - what issues to take care of?

Hello all, after my lase ended on my 435i last year ive been away from BMW for a little.

Just purchased a 2012 X5 50i with 73k miles at a decent deal under $18k loaded. They certainly have crashed in price.

Im sure this has been asked before as ive done some searching but just wanted to be sure.
What all recalls/issues do I need to take care of first?

Ive read up on the customer care package (bulletin B001314)
Did i read everything right that the dealer will take care of everything in that bulletin no matter what when it comes to warranty? Its out of warranty (not CPO)

I dont think the vehicle was ever serviced for that.

Also, there seems to be an airbag recall as well.

Anything else that anyone can think of?

Will likely put BMS tune on it as ive done for my previous BMW's unless there are any suggestions not to due to the common issues with the N63?

Also - Going to need rear tires. Any recommendations or ones to stay away from?

Thanks for the help ahead of time!

Welcome back to BMW.

You can start here for all the safety recalls - https://www.bmwusa.com/safety-recalls.html

The items noted in the customer care campaign will be covered on your X5 despite it being out of warranty. Your dealership should be able to determine what has/has not been done to your X5. I'd get it in there, notably for the drive-shaft recall. Yes, both front airbags are recalled.

The Continentals seem to be a popular choice on this forum. I just stuck with the OEM run-flat tire, the Bridgestone Dueller.

Welcome. Get a dinan s2 tune. Watch out for valve stem seal leaks. And transfer case failures too, which seem more common in 2012 e70s.

Thank you to both of the replies so far

Is the Dinan S2 similar results as the JB4?
