Battery Drian

Hi. I have x5 2008, I had aftermarket lens installed to my side mirrors and so could not connect the wire for the heated/defrost option. Can this being unplugged drain my battery?

Hello
if there is a short circuit on your installed lens wire, yes it drains your battery

another reason is the cold weather that impact very much on older battery ( if you battery is older than 4-5 years)
