Bluetooth Pairing Lost

My X6 is now 10 days old and I have had to re-pair my phone 3 times. (I am currently using a Razor Phone) Anyone else experiencing this problem? I plan to buy the new Blackberry Storm next week so I guess that will tell me if its the phone or X6. Any comments are appreciated, Thank You

Pairing is getting lost anytime, anywhere, with all phone models. Nokia are a bit better. If you are paired with the car, leave the car and go away, once you go over the bluetooth coverage you lose it.

I have a Blackberry 8830 and have never lost the pairing in almost 6 months of having the X6. Since the day I connected it the BB has paired every single time I get into the car - without fail. I suspect it is likely to be the Motorola Bluetooth version that is running on your Razor - a friend of mine has a similar problem with his early model Blackberry Pearl and the issue went away when he upgraded to the later software version via his Blackberry Manager.

Cheers, Anteater.

+1 I have a Blackberry Pearl and never have issues. I agree a phone firmware upgrade will most likely solve the issue.

I have a blackberry storm II and it paires with my 7 series, but it doesn't download the contacts and then it doesn't work through bluetooth and I have to deactivate the bluetooth. Has anyone had this problem? I've also deleted the car from the bb and the bb from the car and repaired, it still doesn't work. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I update my Blackberry weekly online to keep the current version.

I still have the old HTC Tilt from about 3 years ago. I am waiting for the Windows 7 phone due out later this year. I support Uncle Bill and Apple could die for all I care.

Congruts with ur x6, about cell phone, check if you paired cellphone and bmw. It means you need to check on you cellphone that there is device BMW and its authorised by ur cell. Same goes for BMW. If problems continues - than its something wrong with ur cell. I own BMW X6 5.0i for over 4 months at the first months i had samsung G860 (evro cell), than i bought HTC D2 (T-mobile LEO) - no problem at all and i talk like 5 hours a day while driving. Good luck
