X635D delivery to UK!!
Well my car has not arrived at the stealers and they "Have no idea where it is in transit"
It is coming from the states they now tell me, first they said from germany!! They have only a stock delivery number on there system and against this it just says "In transit" I would have thought they would have information on just where it was; ie; in the UK or on the ship. Your thoughts?. |

Typical response for logistics movements - once the ocean transporter has left BMW's systems are liekly to remain at 'in transit' status until it docks and the vehicles are custom cleared at the EU port-of-entry. I would expect that there is only one EU PoE as it would not make sense to try and 'drop off' some units in the UK on the way across IMO. Normally would expect all vehicles to be cleared in one place and then re-distributed to the EU markets.
Cheers, Anteater. |
