Do you really need that much adjustability just to street ride which a high percentage of X5/M owners are doing. If you track or even occasionally track your SUV then justification would come in for getting V3, or even V2. All KW version can produce a drop and would tend to think even V1 is better than stock damping wise. Im looking to hear why so many chose to get the top teir V3 suspension when its not needed?

I don't know why you are just realizing this - you have asked this question 2 previous times in 2 different threads and I have told you both times that the only kw system made for the X5M and X6M is the V3!

Are you in with the KWs????

When would you like to come down? I can ask my shop to schedule a dyno tune for you.

Let's see some snaps of the ride how it sits now!

How much shop time to install the KW V3 with EDC delete. Local dealer charges $145/hr and there is no other competent shop around. Dealer suggested pre-building the KW units with the BMW mounts/bushings and other needed OE BMW parts to cut down on time. This way they could take out the factory units in one piece and not have to waste time removing and transferring parts to the KW's.

Nothing else. However I know you are friends with EAS so I would ask them about their macht scnell edc delete module. If that works for our cars I would much rather use that as you would not need to cut up your stock shocks.

Don't feel too bad, I made the same mistake lol, didn't even cross my mind until after the installation. My friend must not have soldiered one of the cancelers well as the edc error pops ups every once in awhile. Oh well you live and learn I suppose...

As long as you set the length between the two nuts within the range specified in the specs (I think it was 1.5-2") you're good. The air bags will self level with whatever the front is set at, so the whole point of these different links is allowing the rear to go lower than previously allowed with the OEM links.

What happens if you go lower than the range specified in the specs? I'm just trying to see what would happen if I was wanting more lows.
