x5m buying question

hi all,
I need your advise for purchasing 2013 x5m.
is it worth to buy it or go for new x5 (f15)?
bmw offers 16k off. I am not sure it is worth to buy it or not.
give truly advise please, I will appreciate your kindness.
thank you

Well, theres no new X5M at this time, and personally I do not like the styling of the new one, maybe it'll grow on me over time. So the question to you would be-how long do you want to wait for a new X5m?

Buy the current X5M, then trade it in once you're impressed enough to buy the F15 X5M. Post pics this weekend of your new X5M, thanks!

Get a 2012 for mid 60s, have the original owner eat the depreciation which is significant, you will still have at least a couple years of warranty and maintenance, then get the F15 when it comes out in a year or two.

That was my plan but the M's fuel economy scared me away and I couldn't find a white one that had what I wanted Hopefully the F15 will have the 8 speed.

SteveMD has great advice in my opinion. Let someone else take the huge depreciation hit and pick up a pre-owned with low mileage if possible. Currently have a 2011 550i, but need a little more room for my 2 daughters. Looking at finding a pre-owned X5M.

If you do decide to go with the 2013 M, make sure to go with the Full LED option headlights, it really makes it look nice/newer in terms of styling. its about 4k as an option but worth it.

Hey OP, which dealer did you go to? Also are you after a X5M or just a regular X5?
I just got my M from Brain Jessel, and there is defiantly more to be had price wise.

You just got a 2013 X5M - new or used? Can you share how much you paid vs MSRP or invoice and mileage if used?

Not many suv's or cars that have the ability to put a smile on your face. The new x5 looks like a Mercedes gl to me. The present x5m is special! It's the engine they will have to change drastically to show me the value. The interior is not what makes the x5m, it's the drive! Just my 2 cents

I got one in MCB. I'm actually in Calgary, and i was dealing with Calgary BMW and BJ BMW to see who can get me the better deal, but the one i got from BJ is brand new with 30 kms delivered to me, the one in calgary has been test driven already, also my car is the only one with LED headlights
BJ still has a white one, that was my second choice

I will make a deal with autowest nextweek. autowest has monte carlo/ silverstone, is my favorite color combination.
if they offers good numbers, I will take it. get rid off my 550 ( 2011).
what number should I start with autowest? I hope you don't mind my question. thanks

Not at all and that's a great combo, mine has black interior. Is the one you are looking at brand new? If so does it have rear seat entertainment and comfort seat package (with full leather and cooled front seats)?
