Painted my Hubs and Installed H&R Spacers
Just purchased some spacers and before putting them on I decided to clean my hubs and paint them. The over spray on disks came right off when I drove the X5 for a day.
The paint looks good and more clean when you look into the wheels. I also painted the spacers black to match my hubs. The 20mm spacers makes the wheels perfect snug fit with the fender flares. The rear looks Just followed the process for rear wheels at this point, will be cleaning/painting fronts and installing spacers next week.

Thank you. No I am doing 20MM only in rear, the fronts will be 12MM.
Just wanted to make the wheels flush with the fender flares and hopefully this will be enough.

Fronts will be flush. Rears could go wider but I also went with 20mm rears and will stick with them. don't want to run any wider, and risk any more bearing fatigue than I am at 20mm.

Thank you.
I finished cleaning/painting my front rotors as well. Installed 12mm spacers. Just didn't have time to upload the pictures yet.

Hi, a couple of quick questions
1. Did you use special paint? Just wondering if regular paint will hold up to the heat of the rotors during use. 2. Aren't you worried the paint on the face of the rotors will contaminate the pads? Overall it looks really good and I'm thinking of painting mine on my 2010 M Sport. Thanks, Greg

Nice garage mate, plenty of space to work. Reminds me that I need to take off the my wheels at some point and give them a proper cleaning. It's been a while.

Good stuff, want to do mine next? HAHA
That jack doesn't look very safe by the way. Always have the car on jack stands and at least a better jack than that POS you have there. I almost lost my foot with those stupid scissor jacks. Mike

One more question, what type of attachment did you use on your drill to clean the rotors?

Thank you for the compliments.
I used Rustoleum Automotive high heat spray paint and it will hold on pretty good. The over-spray on the rotors came right of after i drove the car next day. Quote:

And yeah i know these jacks are not safe so I did used jack stands for safety. You can see them in first 2 pictures.
