Upgraded the exhaust on my 2013 M-Sport with the Performance Exhaust. I had 25k miles on the car when the muffler was removed.

Muffler/exhaust is in good condition, this is the m-sport exhaust which is a bit "throatier" than a stock X5 exhaust and has the different tips.

Asking $300 for the muffler/exhaust, I am willing to ship, but not quite sure how to pack it up and it will certainly not be cheap. Currently located at 53711.

I figured so but wondering if it would matter as Im sure it would hook up all the same ?

Not sure, i would assume the V8 is different from the I6, but haven't seen them back to back.

PE exhaust is about $1500, pretty easy install, about an hour... it's pretty loud though, the M Sport exhaust (what i'm selling) is louder than stock, but quieter than the PE as it retains the factory flapper, so at idle and cruising half the exhaust is closed off. The PE is wide open on both sides all the time.

Thank you for providing the link to the performance exhaust. Any drone noises heard in the cabin when you get on the gas at highway speeds?

no drone at any speed... never had any issues with the PE exhaust on any cars... but to each their own... people also say the M suspension is too stiff, i think it's fantastic...

no it won't. N63 suitcase has two inlets.

I'm leaning towards the performance muffler BUT installation requires the cutting of the bumper cover. The trim rings cover the additional cutting however I'm not thrilled about having to paint them to match.
Does anyone know if you can reuse the oem exhaust tips in place of the tips that come with the performance muffler?

Finally in regards to the m sport muffler, there are different part numbers listed between m sport and non m sport. Is there really a difference in sound?
