A little update here. Spoke with Velos again about the wheels and they said at most should be about 10 business days or so for refinishing. They are boxed and ready to ship out asap. Includes new center caps and refinishing of your choice. New price at $4500.

Bump with revised pricing on the Velos wheels and Brembos.

1. Velos Wheels - $4500 shipped/paypal/refinishing

2. MCB Engine Cover - $300 shipped/paypal

3. HID headlights with osram cbis, lux angel eyes, and bimmian led corners - $700 shipped/paypal

4. Brembo bbk in mcb and type 3 rotors - $5000 shipped/paypal

Also here is the link to my craigslist ad on the car. What I forgot to mention is that I have a 7yr/100,000 mile extended warranty on her. It is an official BMW product and I believe it's transferable private owner to private owner. Could be wrong though. There are not a lot of pics as I want to sell it locally if possible. Only thing left to do is a proper detail.

I haven't been keeping up here, but did you find/buy/order a replacement yet? Weren't you looking at F15's w/ 3rd row?

My F15 arrives mid October. The 12th supposedly. Ended up going with the 6 cylinder so it should be a dramatic change from this beast. Mineral white, mocha interior, 3rd row, hk, etc. So the time is now to sell the beast. If not I'm going to have to trade it in.

Right on...M Sport I assume? You can always do the MPPK and/or Dinan/RaceChip/etc. Of course it'll never feel like your X5M but the F15 looks quite a bit updated from the E70 IMO, both inside and out.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it on here!

Bump time with some Velos wheels. So based on feedback I have received regarding the Velos wheels, it appears people are not interested in having them refinished by Velos and getting new center caps. As such I have decided to sell them as is now.

New price will be $3500 shipped/paypal. Finish is hand brushed with clear coat. 21 x 10.5 front, 21 x 12 rear. They are boxed up and ready to ship.

Keep in mind these points about them. First the clear is doing some weird things in places on the wheels. A cleaner was sprayed on them without my knowing and by the time I noticed, it was too late. The place wanted to be nice and washed the car and wheels. It happens. Also one of the centercaps has a dent from the inside that resulted in some of the paint peeling off in the center of the cap. Other than that they are in great shape and you are on your own with refinishing and center cap replacement. Zoom in on the pics to try and see the clear coat blemishes.

If I was in market for a multi-piece wheel setup then these would be it! I'd also choose the $1k extra option Kimo's offering (if he still is). A reputable wheel repair shop will already charge at the minimum $700 - $800 to refinish a brushed face so for an extra $1k you get it refinished in any color (brushed with a tinted clearcoat *drool*) you want for the face & barrel in addition to possibly having the barrels replaced (by actual wheel manufacturer) included in his price is a no-brainer but that's just my humble opinion. GLWS!
