My newly picked up 2012 AW E70 X5 Premium

Thanks Nate@IND for the paint reflectors
Thanks Platte Forme a.g. for all the OEM parts hook up

Installed:

1. OEM BMW Performance E70 X5 Glossy Black Kidney Grills
2. OEM BMW E70 X5 Aluminum Running Boards
3. OEM BMW E70 X5 Ski and Snowboard Holder

Incoming:

1. IND E70 X5 AW Painted Front Reflectors
2. IND E70 X5 AW Painted Rear Reflectors
3. Front Clear Bra Package
4. Window Tints














My AW E92 M3 + my newly AW E70 X5


Took out the X5 to lunch with my wife's ML350

ML's suspension is too soft, not much a fan of it. X5 is more quiet on the road too. Also got the 3rd row seats for my big family, so I like that a lot.

Congrats. Picking mine in white in a month or so. Planning on the aero kit. Did not know about the kidney grills. Do you have the part number also price. Check BMW and only shows them for the sedans. Thanks!!!

I was going to ask the same thing as otto, especially on the rears? I would keep them on white x5, though

Also why would people paint reflectors in anything BUT body color? The point is to hide them not prononciate them more. I saw another white X5 with black reflectors, was like WFT? Good thing OP is going with more sensible choice.

Maybe it wasn't black, maybe he tinted them?
Also, there is another option, clear reflectors. If you want to keep the compliance and safety but avoid ambers, you can go with clears. Therefore body color is not the only way to go.
