X6 xDrive50d Coming With Tri-Turbo Diesel

Absolute POWER! Performance through Greater Efficiency

Absolute POWER!

Performance through Greater Efficiency...

BMW's first foray into mid-size Coupe-Sedan territory means business as it lays it's armoury at the competition.

Tri-Turbo Diesel

Following on from an LCi of the BMW X6 in March 2012 @ Geneva. The new BMW 6er Gran Coupe will receive the all new and much discussed Tri-Turbo diesel which will be found in the BMW X6xDrive50d with 354PS.

With the Gran Coupe debuting immediately after in 2012 - Two years on from it's concept the engine will be offered in the BMW 6-series Gran Coupe 50d and 50d M-Sport. Both with optional xDrive. And also the BMW 750d. It will then throughout 2012 emerge in the 6-series Coupe, 5-series Sedan/Touring/Gran Turismo and of course the X5.

M6 Gran Coupe

To extend the M6 Gran Coupe further from the M5 which was always BMW's High performance four door. The new BMW M6 Gran Coupe will spearhead more power taking the power of the engine to 580BHP through the 7 Speed M-DCT.

Originally intended but dialed back for the M5 due to the conception of the Gran Coupe , Gran Coupe will be the flagship M model. BMW M6 Gran Coupe will also bring some performance related technology such as Carbon Ceramic brake discs and exclusive wheel options.

M6 Gran Coupe will also identify a unique approach to performance inspired luxury in conjunction with the BMW Individual department. Including exclusive Carbon Trim, and Uniquely trimmed individual sports seats with two tone trim. To enhance the new 4dr Coupe's sporting 4 passenger interior that continues the overall sportiness of the 6er interior but extends the design further onto the rear doors and through the rear passenger compartment.
