Talking E70 35i transfer case motor gear

Good morning everyone,

I have my 2013 35i and it has presented a 4x4 chassis stabilization error. Currently, the vehicle has turned off the AWD system and is RWD with no drive-ability issue besides not being AWD.

I plan to sell the vehicle in the very near future and would like to address this before selling.

I am going to try the servo motor gear replacement before anything else.
Has any of you tried the metal gear or should I stick with the OEM plastic unit?

Here is the background info:
MHD stage 2+
downpipe
XHP stage 3
Fresh transmission service and transfer case service 5 months ago

Thanks!
