Post your 2011 October Build changes

Just got my 2012 X5 35d yesterday and I'm just posting some undisclosed changes (BMW pulls this all the time) and my opinion on some package changes from my last ride.

- I'm not sure how the regular steering wheels are but on the Sports Steering Wheel, the material is now made of a softer, plusher rubber or leather, and actually is slightly thicker. The last steering wheel felt like hard plastic.

- The 35d engine in this car is made in Austria, whereas the previous one was manufactured in Germany.

My opinion on changes from varying packages:

- I noticed I no longer have the "BMW" door sills, but I think that had something to do with me not ordering those stupid running boards this time. 9999x easier to get in/out of. Car looks more boring however.

- Premium hi-fi is wayyyy better than stock hi-fi, wish I had ordered it again this time (and probably would have had I not been misinformed by the salesperson that the new premium one is standard on the October build). The center speaker cover is even made cheaper on the regular ver. for some reason to save them $0.02/car. However, the better audio is not worth the 1-2k they're asking for.

- Multicontour seats are worlds better than the sports seats, but that's because the sports seats hurt while sitting and cuts your legs while it's at it. Also extremely hard to get out of due to the seat bolsters. The sports do not have a side bolster that moves, which I assumed coming from a 335i with sports, so that was a letdown. The sports headrest is a hollow plastic piece of crap with a loose button.

- Since rear climate package is standard now, the interior of the B-pillar is no longer a hollow plastic piece of crap and the center storage under the armrest now has AC cooling

- Comfort access is a lot more convenient, and the door handles aren't loose

I have a feeling BMW purposely gives you crappy alternate parts to punish you for not getting your ride fully loaded.

You guys notice any other undisclosed changes? POST HERE!

My 20s are Bridgestone. I remember reading somewhere on the forums that X5s don't come with paddle shifts but my 50i with sports activity package did. Is this a recent change or was it always like this for 35i/50i?
