looking to get rid of my original running boards.

I put the optional running board on my X5 and looking to get rid of the standard factory ones. If anyone wants them just pay the shipping and they are yours. I am in RI and ship UPS daily and give give you the cost.

The original running boards are black plastic, not the aluminum ones correct?

I was thinking about getting tid of my running boards. Is it a straight swap? Would i need to purchase anything else?
