Black plastic trim question?
All,
I just test drove the BMW x5 diesel for the first time. Wow...what a punch, and powerful drive. What I am noticing up close is a difference in the black plastic trim. Some have more of an edge coming off the body of the vehicle. Others are more flush. I asked the dealer and he had no clue as to what makes for the different design from one x5 to the next. He said if the BMW comes with the 20" wheels that it may dictate the change. I don't think so...but could be wrong. Anyone have a better answer or more info?

My dealer also had no idea, one newbie, but he gave us a great price, I don't care if my sales person is incompetent, I just look at the bill. I won't be seeing him again.
Just wanted to add, not just sports package, but they also come anytime you upgrade the wheels to 10 and over width. So you can get the sweet 239's, but not get sports package, they will add the "flares". (I wonder if anyone would pay $6500 for them)... |
