DIY - removing & replacing rear reflectors on LCI non-M sport models

Searched this forum, but could not find much. Rheingold had the procedure, fortunately, and it took me about 2 minutes for each side.

Tools needed:
Trim/panel pry tools.


(Showing only right side)
Step 1:
Insert the wedge-shaped plastic piece behind the reflector as shown and gently apply pressure on the tensioner clip, until you can feel it loosen and see the reflector partially pop-out.


Step 2:
Use the other pry tool on the other end, and push the reflector in the opposite direction from step 1. The idea is to force the sliding clips off the holding brackets. The reflector should fully pop out at this point. Gently wiggle and take reflector off.


Re-assembly is straight forward. Position the tensioner clip of the reflector in its slot and press it in, followed by sliding to the right for the clips to catch the bracket.
