Dinan tune and exhaust is good for 610hp per their site.
Even with downpipes Dinan is known for very conservative tunes.
And with upgraded turbo x5ms out there I highly doubt that there aren't a handful of faster x5ms.
I never heard of a E70 Dinan tuned X5M getting 700 either, and newsflash for you, the newer F85's aren't pulling 700 either! A friend of mine has a 2016 X5M and is Dinan tuned and he's pissed that his isn't getting 700. In fact he's down around 650, so I don't know what to think

My 2013 X5m puts down 510 at the wheels on a high load Mustang Dyno. If you consider drivetrain loss that would come to about 700 at the crank. Maybe he really means at the crank.

lol

Drivetrain loss is arbitrarily calculated at 15%.

At 510rwhp you're more like 590 at the flywheel...

typical loss is roughly 25%+ in an AWD automatic x5m
You will find tons and tons of conflicting information on the Internet about what the loss percentages are for different drivetrain types. Below are the correct drivetrain loss percentages for each drivetrain type. Keep in mind that the drivetrain loss is about 2-5% higher in cars with automatic transmissions.
■FWD: 10-15% loss;
■RWD: 10-18% loss;
■AWD: 17-25% loss.

The ZF trans are notorious for having a higher loss due to torque limiting factors

I have seen and ridden in this X5 and will validate its once of the fastest around. Karl has done everything under the sun to this X5 and knowing him has a few tricks in there only a few people even know can be done. Also worth noting he is a certified BMW performance driving instructor.

I personally only take my vehicles to Karl for both service and tuning (X5 and Stage II+ Audi S4). His work is first class

I'd love to see the numbers on this, doubt they'll get posted unless it truly hits 700hp. Good luck with the sale OP.
