coding for the keyfob

So I had a guy try to code my truck but he was unable to do so. He attempted a number of times with both old and new files but he couldnt get anything from the ECU. He said its possible that maybe the prvious owner may have altered something. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Can someone post on how to code a brand new, un-coded keyfob?
