Ordered Mid October finally got delivery date 15th April WTF

Hi Guys,
Ordered my new X6 october the 16th and only told got told by my dealer that the confimed delivery date is April 15th - I was orginally told i should expect december january time - alowing 8 weeks extra for the indivdual slate leather..

any other uk people ordering new x6's had long delivery times like this ?
as on the thread you lucky americans seem to be collecting them withing 4-6 weeks!

Sorry to hear that waiting was the worst part. I think since they're built here they have shorter journey to get to us.

Hi ryansumm,

I ordered my new X6 in late september and took deleivery in Mid November however the dealer had pre-ordered it for stock (I was still able to spec it though) and the sales guy did say the standard delivery was 12 - 16 weeks for the UK.

I also read in a car mag that the X6 had one of the longest lead times of all the new cars on sale at the moment!

So you are waiting six months for this? Seems a little long, but might be worth it in the end.

Yes amoung other spec items on the car, however the dealer said this was the longest waiting item only 8 weeks extra.. so in total 7 months!...
