WUT! don't pay a dime over MSRP. I got mine fore $4500 under sticker, but I am a long time customer, but many out there are getting there $1-3K off. Don't pay that markup. In this economy, you're dealer is trying to rip you off. Check around the country, I am sure you can find the car you want, for the price you want.

Good luck on the the find. BTW, what combinations are you getting? Here is a link to mine...

I think it is a reasonable deal. That is the range I was in when negotiating on the M, though I changed to a 5.0 because I am leasing, and the residuals, rates, and incentives are god awful on the M compared to the 5 and 3.5. If I was paying cash, I would get the M.

I picked up the beautiful Monte Carlo Blue X6M today! The color is a very fine metal flake, and is a wonderful shade of blue that totally stood out among the other cars at the dealer. We came to an agreement on the price, which was basically I agreed to pay the quoted price, as long as they threw in a few accessories I was interested in. After waiting for so long to finally have my new car, (at least 18 months) I was just glad to get whatever discount they offered, and get the heck out of there with my new pride and joy.

The car actually lured someone to it at the dealership, and they ended up firing up the white demo they had in the showroom, to take him out for a test drive.

First impressions are I really like the color. The leather dash is smooth and looks awesome, as well as the door panels, with the carbon fiber trim I ordered. I took a sweeping freeway interchange tunnel curve I like down by LAX at about 100 mph and it was glued to the road with no body roll, easy! The stereo sounds precise and fills the cabin with sound. The M doorsills are beautiful and I especially like that all the M emblems go with the blue color.
My phone contacts were immediately downloaded and hands free works great using just BlueTooth. The I-Drive is convenient with the shortcut buttons, and the display and speed of operation are good. I am still getting the hang of the remaining items and it will take a while to explore all of the features.

I will post pictures as soon as I can. This will be a very Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a good Holiday Season.

Well, crud, I don't know what to do. I want my car now (my custom 5.0 that is on order). Should I just go to the dealer tomorrow and take the carbon black/white leather X6M they have in stock? It has most of the options I wanted. BUt I live in Colorado, and would need to immediately put winter tires on. The summers are useless below about 60 degrees.

What should I do??

go to ralph schomp bmw to see the one I am talking about

Pictures And First Problem With X6m

I have added the following pictures. Unfortunately I had to take it back to the dealer today. On my first drive up into the mountains yesterday, it developed an oil leak and was smoking from it. It looks like an oil pressure line feeding the one turbo has a crack in it where they welded a bracket to the oil line pipe. Total factory defect on that. They probably do not have the part in stock. I am now using their loaner car.

I have the exact same paint color and interior trim and alloys. Had mine just a year and done close to 40,000km here in Australia. Some minor issues but all fixed by brilliant local dealer. Only major gripe is the side sills and rear doors get major stone chip damage over time, especially on dirt roads. Haven't found a fix so am now putting clear film over sills but won't bother to do rear doors as slight damage there already after one re-paint so thats life. About to ditch Bridgestone run flats and put on standard tires, probably Pirelli or maybe Conti

Very nice! The MC blue looks beautiful. It reminds me a lot of my old Topaz Blue E46 from those pictures. I hope you get it back soon and in perfect running order.
