Any one using front camber adjustments bolts?
For those using camber adjustments bolt, in which arm is the bolt place? Is it the lower control arm?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming you're referring to the front end, who even makes crash bolts for our E70's? I looked up Eibach, Lemfoerder, and Specialty Products Co. and I couldn't find an application for our vehicles (maybe I missed something?). Although BMW OEM sells 2 different upper control arms for +/- 30 MIN adjustment.
For the rear, there's a recent thread about the rear camber adjustment... |

I didn’t have any luck finding legit camber bolts for the front. KMAC makes front lower control arm camber bushings and thrust arm caster bushings. They also have rear lower control arm camber/toe bushings that add additional adjustment to the stock points. They are all a bit pricey but seem legit. ECS sells them but I’d check out the KMAC website first to verify part numbers.

In a other threads a few guys advice to used camber bolts for the front. The only legit one I found was this one on ebay uk and then follows the last 2 link the guys advice in this thread. By the looks off it any 14mm camber bolt should work by moving the lower control arm in or out. https://m.ebay.ie/itm/Powerflex-Powe...88?_mwBanner=1 https://www.amazon.com/TC114-Triple-...dp/B00CBQ6MAS# https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CB2GOU/ |

The front only needs a 14mm camber bolt. That's it. Doesn't need to be fancy or brand name. But I do prefer the h&r triple-c over the generic bolts since you can torque them more about 2x

Has anyone had any luck with these?
I can't imagine the one single cam bolt working for our X5s. The upper ball joint is fixed into the spindle, so I don't imagine any adjustments there. I'm looking to get more front camber, probably -0.5 more since rear is around -2 Looks like only new upper CAs would work: Right https://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/...126863336.html Left https://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/...126863335.html

Bumping this up as I had my alignment checked today and I have to sort out the front driver side. Will the H&R or SPC Bolts work and help adjust that front camber on the E70 X5M? Thanks.

First off, my X5M is not lowered and I do not plan on doing so. However, I will tell you that when you install lowered springs it will increase the negative camber. So, whether or not they will need camber bolts depends on how much negative camber lowering results, in excess of specifications, and how much negative camber you want. Lowering in most cases results in negative camber in excess of what is specified.

Hey everyone, I have an E70 35D and wondering who has had success with any of the above mentioned parts? I also found adjustable upper control arms on ebay for $499.99.
Did the 14MM camber bolts work? I'm in desperate need of front end love, among a ton of other stuff, on my E70. |
