Hate to revive an old thread but my 2012 X5 diesel with the 20" Y-Spoke Wheels was experiencing some abnormal outter tire wear. After researching on the board and asking around, I was pretty sure it was the alignment (Toe was off).

Just got an alignment done, how do these numbers look? To me they look way better than before.

Garage List
Same thing happened to me at 18000 miles, after a warranty service dealer said I need new tires and an alignment. I said this is crazy, I've never hit anything on the road that would cause the alignment to be off. Sure enough both of my front tires are all worn on the outside edge. So I had an alignment done. After reading this thread I feel much better, it's a design issue...

Does anyone else have positive camber issues? My X5 has a +0.5 degree camber on front right, and I'm wondering if I have a bent upper control arm, or a lower wish bone.

i have to check my pre alignment numbers. off the top of my head i would think that the front left would have a little positive camber (for US or other left side driver cars) or at a minimum less negative camber than the front right

i think this because of the weight of the driver in the seat would weigh the car down slightly on that particular side and that difference in camber would even out.

i could be wrong, but that is what came to mind
