2006 bmw x5 disiel fuel injection

hi there this my first time posting something

i have a 2006 bmw x5 disiel i have owned it for 2yrs now an it has been a great motor recently when putting my foot down at the lights a message appears reading 'FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM' the car carrys on normal and once stoped an restarted the message doesnt come up again!

this has happened 3 times now but if i do not take off to quick from standstill it is fine the message just come when i put my foot down i had a mechanioc diagnose it an it has come up with somthing to do with 'rail pressure' my mechanic says its 100% my injectors an its a common fault with bmw disiels.

just want to know wheather anyone else has had this problem and what the outcome is as my car has on covered 65k and has always been serviced very well
