Upgrading to Bigger Rotors/Calipers

Hi everyone, Just bought a 07 3.0si E70 and am going to upgrade to 22" wheels in a month or so. I came from an 07 530i full tricked out with 20" wheels, Stoptech BBK's, etc.

I hate the look of the stock rotors/calipers after upgrading to 22's... Other than the fact they look like booty, no matter the size.

Can anyone recommend a good source to upgrade our caliper/pads/rotors (slotted or drilled, etc) WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THE BBK ROUTE AGAIN??? I dont feel like dropping $7k + again...

Any recommendations or links/shops would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Ryan

that would be a wasted for a 3.0i e70 with a brembo or stoptech big break kits. it would be better to get a set of used x5m x6m oem break and maybe paint them red after you get them. a whole set should not over 2K.

Thanks for the insight on this. I was researching on the X5M brakes but no one ever came out and confirmed whether or not there would be any fitment issues on a 3.0si...

Do you or anyone else know 100% that they would fit a 3.0si?? Any pics??

I was thinking of upgrading and getting a professional paint job on em...

Thank you

Buy the BMW OEM rotors (385mm) and caliphers (very Large) off a X5 M50d, bolts straight on, buy from a UK or European BMW dealer.

The M50d is not sold in the US, not sure about Canada.

Yes I had the calipers painted, and I installed ceramic pads because I hate all that black dust also.

Understood and thanks again!

Do you happen to have the exact parts #'s handy? If not I can keep looking. I looked on real oem, etc and couldn't find anything...

Thank you!

If your talking about my model on realoem.com its this one:--

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...2&mospid=54681

Whether you choose righthand drive or left the rotors and pads are the same.
