Congratulations and Welcome to the forum.
You have to watch that your face muscles don't cramp from smiling so much when you drive it... Seriously I think the 35 models have had the least problems. Enjoy Last edited by dmlgc; 04-28-2009 at 04:08 PM.. |

thanks guys, I am thinking to get rims for my baby. I live in Taiwan with the most ****ed up roads I ever been. I had 19" on my porsches with aftermarket suspension and I could live with it. But I really don't want to sacrifice the ride since I got a SUV. 22" I am afraid it will loose acceleration and hurt the fuel mileage. Any opinions?

Be carefull about the ride feel, the X6 has a stiff suspension already, and if your streets are not good enough, the ride will be hard.....in Costa Rica streets are also full of potholes, Im not changing my 19's for that reason

depending on the color of the car you must be very carefull because not all wheels looks good on black, I have seen factory wheels painted in black that look very ugly, I think is better to go for aftermarkets such is BBS, ACS, ForgedLine, HRE's, etc etc
For me the best style for black are all the "mesh type" and the black not shiny , kind of semi-gloss finish or semi-mate Good luck |

the bigger the wheel the less rubber tire to protect the rim on rough roads, & curbs but the sportier the handling & ride, also front & rear are different size tires on 20" + rims..

We do have street numbers and names, but no one knows how to give directions using street numbers, just in downtonw San Jose streets and avenues are well marked. There is a good reason for this, the idea is to make our tourists to get lost, that way they will get to know better the country until they find the place they were looking for. When was your last time you were here ? PURA VIDA !! |
