Project Completed =)

2011 BMW 35d
Black kidney gills
Painted molding
Debadged
Custom painted OEM front and rear bumpers
Custom painted OEM running board
Clear bra
Ceramic tint
HR Spring
Vorsteiner VS-340 22" with texture matt black center and gloss black lip

What do you all think? Thinking of selling the wheels though. Ride is currently too bumpy for my pregnant wife. Also selling my stock 19" with factory tires.

All bodywork done by Diamond Hills Collision Center located in Diamond Bar, CA.

Stunning. 22"s are too big IMHO. 20's are the perfect size.

Beautiful! You're right it didn't need aero. I'll be over this week. Was it M sport already or did you have the wheel arches painted?

I'm guessing they were painted. I don't think the diesel has the m sport option. (I know it doesn't in Canada.)

I added the fender flares.

I didn't want the kit because I want to install trailer hitch. Hence I went the other route. =)

The only thing I would change is the chrome X5 emblem on rear to black.

Hey xia0w0ng I'll be calling this week. Just need to work out the borrowing of the truck. I love your sav, very classy! What did the painting of the bumpers, clear bra, and ceramic tint cost you?

Looking great! How much $$$ for the wheels? The H&R's aren't helping your ride quality either. I would have gone eibach. I had H&R's on my A4 for one week and sold them.

They are 3 pc so I paid close to $10k including tires.

I'll consider any reasonable offers though. I've had them for about 3 months.

Here are some more before and after pics. By the way, I'm selling my stock 19" wheels too. =) They are practically brand new.

Question about paints

Great looking x5 you have. I am wondering did you purchase the new OEM front and rear pumpers? How about wheel arch trims (the trims above the wheels)? My original part come with black color, shall I just do custom painted over the body shop? Thanks

Those on stock bumpers that came with my car.

Yep, I just painted the OEM fender flares.

Love it

Hi great job, I think it looks amazing!

I also have a SE model in black sapphire and want to basically do the same as yourself but black the whole thing out.

How did you get the aluminium part of the side step in black. Did you paint the aluminium or is a different part. Also the grill mesh at the front, is this painted or new?

Many thanks

Chris
