Brake job on my x5m
Just wanted to share my new brakes I just finished on my x5m, since I couldn't find anything aftermarket and didn't want the same ones I got these!! Seen couple people on here do it and love the way it looks. Ran out of time couldn't finish the front ones.

I've seen this done on some other trucks, looks great! I plan on this when I need to replace mine also. The price is actually about the same if not cheaper depending on where you buy. Using bolt on spacers in the rear eliminates any problems with the lack of an aligning rotor bolt in the rear.

So to be clear the F85 M rotors will clear our stock E70m rims with spacers. But what if we wanted the entire F85M setup with rotors and calipers. Will we need 21" wheels to clear the F85M rotors and calipers?

These are same size as oem, and I did it because it was time for new brakes. And the cost was less than I'd pay for any other brakes considering it all came out to under 1500 and it looks a 100 times better and more effective than the original ones on our trucks!!

You can install them with the stock 20" wheels because the E70 M and F85/86 rotors has the same diameter and thickness. No need for spacers for clearance if you are installing them on E70 M, the only purpose (but not a requirement) for installing bolt-on spacers for the rear because the holding screw opening of the F85 rotors doesn't match the E70 M which means the rotors are being secured only by the oem bolts of the E70, if you have to install bolt on spacers, the bolts of the spacers will hold them in place. The front rotors can be held by the oem holding screw.

Is this a pic of a complete unit,...rotor hub and rotor or just the rotor? I ask because your rotor hub is crazy clean!
