$400 to turn off a post o2 sensor... Uh, thats crazy.

From other people with catless DP tune updates, it not only removes the CEL for faulty cats but also reduces the exhaust fume smells as well. I'll know first hand in a few days if thats true.

Considering going with these... The other prices from the other companies are ridiculous.

I purchased the dp's after I had already upgraded to the vf-engineering hex tune stage 1. After the downpipes, VF is only going to charge me the difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 tune.

When I was looking at tunes, I also wanted the cold start turned off, and AA said they were still working on that. Velos, on the other hand, had already figured that out, so I went with them. With the catless downpipes the cold start was quite loud, a little too much for my early morning trips to the gym...

My suggestion is gut the OEM downpipes ($free) and then use the saved money to buy the Velos tune (absolutely nowhere close to free!)

Maybe a little bit, but not much, not enough to say the smell is GONE.

I gutted my stock cats, used the saved money on a stage 2 tune. Eventually I'll buy some aftermarket cats for a smoother flow, but in the meantime the power difference is night and day!!

Yep, me too, very happy. The best part, I'm going to use the crappy downpipes that didn't fit and cut the cats out of them to be rewelded under the truck so I fully get rid of the exhaust smell.

I bought a set from a member here, he said he never installed them. When I went to install, I found out that they didn't fit. They are EFI Logic, a company that is now defunct.. Search for my post in the FS section...

Hmm, I'll have to look into that, I called the phone number available online and it was disconnected...
