Question Any know issues/problems with X5d/335d with JBD.

Hi Guys,

I know I have asked about this before but I was wondering if any one had/knew or heard, any know issues with JBD on X5d or 335d. I am thinking about getting one for my 2011 X5d but scared to get one obvious reason. I just don’t want any issues with my transmission since I have heard the ZF transmission BMW uses in the X5d is not rated for more the stock 425 torque. PLEASE advice thank you.

Nada

8200 miles and no issues. CEL light @ 100% setting came on couple weeks after first installing but then went away and haven't seen since. Been just about 6 months or so now.

I am very active on the 335 forum and I have not heard of a single JBD issue since they came out. I ran one of the JB3's on my car for a while, then went to a flash eventually as it was difficult to take the JB3 in and out for dealer service, but the JBD is much easier to remove for dealer trips. When I had the JB3, the service and communications from Burger Tuning was great, very quick responses to email and they seem to have a lot of happy customers.

Any suggestions to what setting should I run mine on? Is it safe to run at 100% gain at all time thank you.

Jbd tuner

I have had mine in my 2011 x5 diesel for about 2 months it is at about 70% with no problems and no check engine lights etc. No notice in mpg loss. It seems to be quicker!
