Are all E70 X5 OEM wheels/tires interchangeable?
I have a LCI 2012 X5d with Sports Package (suspension ), it came with OEM 20 inch wheels, and I'm thinking of using OEM Style 209 or 210 18 inch wheels and OEM spec tires. Will OEM 18s fit my car? What about OEM Style 211 19 inch wheels?
Thanks

You can put oem 18s 19s or 20s. The hub bore is what matters and its the same for all those. X5 M vehicles are different as their rear wheels have a different hub bore. I went from a 19 to a 20" wheel personally.

what? really? How is this so, I always thought aside from X5M wheels, at least the 19s and 20s are interchangeable across all Sport Package X5s

Actually, I just found Toyo Proxes ST IIs in OEM 20 sizes at a similar cost to 18 DWSs...so, I'm probably just staying with my 20s.

Which 20s do you have? I have a 2007 x5 4.8 sport package but it came with the standard 211s 19 inch wheels. I would be willing to do a trade plus cash on my end..
(then again that would be hard seeing as you are 3000 miles away lol) |

C'mon, you have the Sport Package, why hand-cuff it with some tiny, chintzy looking 18's! |

That and I found 20 inch tires (Toyo Proxes ST II) that's about the same price as any 18/19s DWS tires. Last edited by Flying Ace; 01-15-2015 at 12:08 PM.. |

I have an X5M and am already thinking about summer wheels... what's the rear hub bore on the ///M versus non-M?

Yep, in October. I'm not gonna lie, I miss my E90M3 terribly. The X5M just doesn't have the same... personality as the M3. The X5M a gorgeous pice of machinery - I'm in no way suffering! - but I miss rowing gears and the noises the S65 (and the Gintani race exhaust) make. I'm already scouring the FS board at M3post to see if I can get back in one. Husband is less than pleased. oops.
