Xdrive Malfunction after dead battery

Hey guys, I was coding my e70 when the battery went dead. So I disconnected it, charged it up for a few hours and then replaced it. Now I get a xdrive malfunction. I read this can be caused by a dead or disconnected battery, but I can't find anywhere on how to fix this?? Tried driving around for :45min and doing the steering wheel lock to lock trick. Nothing has worked. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks guys

I had the same malfunction after doing a stereo install in the car. I think it just takes more drive cycles to go away, mine went away on its own.
